Fundamentals of Research in Social Sciences 4-week Online Course

 

This 4 - week online beginner-level course on the fundamental of research in social sciences was conducted from May-June, 2023. Students learned the components of research, research methods, and practical aspects of reading a research paper. Students were taught how to write literature reviews, the different sampling strategies and the ethics of research and publishing.  This beginner-level course provided the basic knowledge and understanding an individual requires to conduct research.

Complete Training in Quantitative Research

This 12-week online beginner to intermediate level course was conducted in 2021. This course in quantitative research provided complete guidance and training to formulate and publish their own research paper. Students learned the components of research, research methods, and practical aspects of reading a research paper. Students were taught how to write literature reviews, the different sampling strategies and the ethics of research and publishing. Once they were acquainted with the basics of research, the students learned descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Data analysis was taught using Jamovi, an r based statistical analysis open software.
